Franklin Properties
Accessibility Statement
Franklin Properties wants people with disabilities to have meaningful access to our website, property information, and services. Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility.
Effective date:
1. Our commitment
We work to make the public Franklin Properties website usable by people with a wide range of disabilities and assistive technologies. We consider accessibility when designing, developing, reviewing, and maintaining content and features.
We also support Equal Housing Opportunity and will work to provide reasonable accommodations and effective communication as required by applicable law.
2. Accessibility target
Our technical target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. We use that target as practical guidance for perceivable content, keyboard access, understandable interactions, and robust support for assistive technology.
Standards and technology evolve, and meeting a technical checklist alone does not establish that every person will encounter no barrier.
3. Ongoing testing and remediation
Our ongoing work includes automated checks and manual review of keyboard operation, focus, headings, landmarks, names and labels, alternative text, contrast, zoom and reflow, touch targets, motion, status messages, and form errors.
We prioritize barriers that prevent access to property information, inquiries, tour scheduling, payment or application links, privacy choices, and legal notices, and we remediate issues as they are identified.
4. Accessible alternatives
If a website feature or document is difficult to use, contact us so we can discuss another method, such as assistance by phone or email or information in another accessible format.
Requesting an alternative will not affect housing availability, an application, or your ability to ask for a reasonable accommodation.
5. Third-party content
Some functions and destinations are operated by third parties, including AppFolio portals, maps, social networks, and linked documents. We do not control every aspect of those services, but we welcome reports about barriers and will help identify an available alternative when reasonably possible.
6. How to send feedback
Tell us what you were trying to do, the page URL or feature name, what happened, and how we can contact you. Sharing a screenshot or assistive-technology detail is helpful but not required.
We will review accessibility feedback, route it to the appropriate team, and communicate about an alternative or remediation as circumstances allow.
7. Statement updates
We may update this Statement as the website, standards, and our accessibility work change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
Contact us
To report a digital accessibility barrier or request information in an accessible format, contact us by email or phone. Please include the page address, the issue you encountered, your browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and the format or assistance you need.
